프프프(FFF, Feminist Filmmakers Forever)는

남성 중심의 영상 제작업계에서 여성들이 오래 함께 일할 수 있도록 밀어주고 끌어주는 여성 영상인 네트워크입니다.

2020년 발족 후 2023년 현재 123명의 여성 영상인들이 프프프 4기로 활동 중입니다.

 

​매 기수 진행되는 협업 프로젝트는 프프프의 가장 큰 활동 중 하나이며

2023년 4기의 협업 프로젝트 주제는 단편 영화였습니다.

​

"동성혼이 법제화된 한국"을 배경으로 만들어진 이번 영화는

혼인 평등을 떠올리면 찾아오는 벅차거나 절박한 감정,

당연한 것을 쟁취해 내야 하는 피곤함 등 그 모든 것이 지나간 뒤에 찾아올

자연스러운 세상의 모습을 그립니다.

" 여성/퀴어를 단순히 소재로 사용하는 것을 넘어서

여성/퀴어의 입장에서 뻗어 나온 상상력을 예상치 못한 방식으로 전개하고

거침없이 표현하는 감각이 인상 깊었다. "

“아직 오지 않은 세계에 대해 쓰면 그 세계가 오는 속도가 조금은 빨라지지 않을까?”

라는 정세랑 작가의 말과 같은 마음으로 영화를 만들었습니다.

이 영화가 의미가 없어지는 시대가 하루빨리 찾아 왔으면 좋겠습니다.

"FFF (Feminist Filmmakers Forever)" is a women's film network

that help women in the male-dominated film production industry,

enabling them to work together for a long time.

​

Since its inception in 2020,

123 female filmmakers are currently active in the 4th term of FFF in 2023.

The collaborative project conducted in each term is one of the biggest activities of FFF.

The theme for the collaborative project of the 4th term in 2023 was short films.

​

This film was created against the backdrop of "Same-Sex Marriage Legalized in Korea."

Rather than focusing on emotions such as the urgent feelings that come to mind when thinking about marital equality or the weariness of having to claim what should be natural, the film depicts the natural state of the world that will come after all of those experiences have passed.

"Beyond using women/queer as mere subjects,

the ability to unfold the imagination derived from the perspective of women/queer

in unexpected ways and to express it boldly was deeply impressive."

I made this film with the same sentiment as the writer Se-rang Jeong, who said,

'If we write about the yet-to-come world, wouldn't it accelerate its arrival just a little?'

I hope for the day to come quickly when this film becomes meaningless.
